Abstract
•This is the first report on Ce-MoSe2 nanosheets as peroxidase – mimic for colorimetric detection of glucose.•Ce-MoSe2 nanosheets possess the enhanced peroxidase mimicking activity than that of pure MoSe2.•High selectivity and real sample analysis make this material superior for the use in glucose detection kits like ELISA.
