Abstract
— Tellurium (Te) nanostructures have been obtained on glassy carbon substrates by thermal evaporation in an argon atmosphere. The sizes and shape of Te particles have been determined by computer image processing of electron images. It has been established that the Te condensation on glassy carbon substrates for 10, 20, and 30 s ensures particle formation of two types: spheres and nanowires with the sizes from 10 to 600 nm. The increase in the Te condensation time up to 30 s leads the increase in the nanowires by a factor of 500 and the spherical microparticles by a factor of 5.
