Abstract
The paper deals with the implementation of a method to kindle the affordable cutting edge technology and remote sensing technology positioned for data congregation and monitoring the effectiveness and competence of beehive colonies. We develop a sensor system for scrutiny of beehive microclimate variables, as well as temperature, relative humidity, and weight that could enhance techniques of apicultural research and development. The sensors are installed across distinct locations to measure the beehives' temperature, relative humidity. The information is warehoused to the local and cloud server. We utilise special architecture and wireless sensor network in the design and development of low-cost in-hive models (wireless technology-based system for precision apiculture). The system is developed on the three-level hierarchical model, wireless node, local information server, and the cloud data server. We employ data analytics to make effective decisions based on informed design choices with regard to usability in the field, effective communication of relevant information, and robustness to varying outdoor conditions. The obtained results validate that the proposed model can competently accomplish the goal of developing a system that is reliant on the obligation and technology of the honeybee colonies' system in the current urban context because the first layer in the model implements identification of spatiotemporal relations among the predictors and other layers models the nonlinear relations.
