摘要

•It is the first time to analyze the transient thermal effect of Tm: LuYAG crystal pumped by pulsed laser diode in detail, and the maximum pulse energy of 900 mJ is obtained for the Tm: LuYAG laser for the first time.•The results show that Tm: LuYAG crystals have higher research significance and practical application value.
