Abstract
ZnTiO 3 /foam nickel photocatalyst is prepared by a facile coating method, which loads nanometer ZnTiO 3 powder onto nickel foam on the basis of PTFE as adhesive and anhydrous ethanol as dispersant. Morphology and structure of the photocatalyst are characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electrons microscopy (SEM), Raman spectroscopy (Raman), UV–Vis diffuse reflectance spectrum (UV–VIS DRS) and photoluminescence spectroscopy (PL). The photocatalytic properties of the materials are tested by using the Rhodamine B (Rh B) solution as the target pollutant. The results indicated that the ZnTiO 3 /Ni foam had higher photocatalytic activity than the powdered ZnTiO 3 , and its degradation rate was up to 97.19% under ultraviolet light. Moreover, the degradation rate remained over 90% after five consecutive photocatalytic reaction cycles, and the ZnTiO 3 /Ni foam still had good photocatalytic activity and stability.
