Digital modelling of a double-inclined-arch-pylon cable-stayed bridge in Beijing, China
PROCEEDINGS OF THE INSTITUTION OF CIVIL ENGINEERS-CIVIL ENGINEERING(2022)
摘要
Completed in 2019, the New Shougang Bridge in Beijing, China is an innovative double-inclined-arch-pylon cable-stayed structure with uniquely curved and twisted steel pylons. The 1354 m long, five-span steel road crossing carries eight lanes of traffic over the Yongding River to the west of the city. This paper describes the use of building information modelling to help design and construct the complex-shaped structure. Three-dimensional visual checks and virtual preassembly were carried out prior to construction, while laser scanning of as-built components was used to check accuracy and deflection.
