摘要

•Nd:YAG ceramic/YAG crystal composites are bonded by pressureless thermal diffusing.•The bonded composites show high optical transmittance and narrow interface.•Lattice diffusion coefficient for Nd3+, Si4+, and Mg2+ cations is calculated.•Activation energy for Nd3+, Si4+, and Mg2+ cations diffusing is evaluated.
