Fabrication of TiO2/CeO2/PPS corrosion protective hydrophobic coating by air spraying

摘要
The TiO2/CeO2/PPS composite coating is prepared by air spraying method. The introduction of TiO2 and CeO2 into the PPS substrate significantly improves the corrosion resistance of the composite coating, and the electrochemical corrosion current density reduces two orders of magnitude. The coating is surface-modified with cetyltrimethoxysilane and has good hydrophobicity, so it has excellent anti-fouling and self-cleaning ability. It has the advantages of low processing cost and simple preparation method compared with other anti-corrosion coatings, since the coating is only prepared by a physical mixing method and does not involve complex chemical reactions, which possess the potential for practical application.
