摘要

•Solid acid derived from biomass and waste plastic were prepared.•High yield of furfural can be achieved from xylose and crop wastes.•The activate sites was revealed to be sulfonic and carboxylic acid groups.•The deactivation mechanism of the catalyst was examined.
