The link between Paleo-Tethys subduction and regional metallogeny in the SW Yangtze Block: New evidence from the Zubu carbonate-hosted F-Pb-Zn deposit

•Fluorite from Zubu F-Pb-Zn deposit yields an Sm-Nd isochron age of 211 ± 11 Ma.•Ore-forming fluid were derived from the metamorphic water, brine and meteoric water.•Ore-forming materials were derived from the basement and sedimentary strata.•The Pb-Zn mineralization is related to the closure of the Paleo-Tethys Ocean.
