Abstract
•We evaluated the oxidation capacity of the UV-H2O2 systems on the degradation of FG and P4R.•The degradation rate follows pseudo-first order kinetics with respect to dyes concentration.•The total organic carbon (TOC) data showed that for chemical oxidation of FG, the mineralization degree is 86%.•The possible mechanism of dyes degradation is proposed.
