摘要

•Beck’s cognitive insight scale (BCIS) consists of self-reflectiveness (SR) and self-certainty (SC).•Left frontal pole volume was significantly related to BCIS-composite score in schizophrenia but not in healthy controls.•There was no relation between frontal pole volume and age or BCIS-SR in both schizophrenia and healthy controls.•Right frontal pole volume was not associated with cognitive insight in either groups.
