Multiband 4-Fan Shaped MIMO Antenna with Good Isolation for Wireless Applications

摘要
This article investigates MIMO using a 4-Fan shaped antenna. To obtain multiband frequencies, an ACS fed is used, which is then transformed into a MIMO with a compact size of 56.8 x 56.8 x 1. 6mm 3 •. The distance between the radiating elements is 18.6mm. The placement of elements orthogonally aids in achieving the desired isolation of less than -15dB. The proposed antenna has dual operating bands of 2.23GHz-2.41GHz and 3.49GHz-6.4GHz. At the second operating frequency, a maximum peak gain of 5.2dB is achieved. The proposed antenna is appropriate and potentially beneficial for wireless applications. All the diversity parameters are acceptable range, it shows the novelty of proposed antenna. All simulations are carried under CST microwave studio.
