摘要
•The possibility to obtain curved and twisted surfaces due to the EC molecule.•Armchair configuration leads to the twisted surface.•Zigzag configuration results in a curved surface.•This study has a great potential to improve our understanding the mechanism of the mechanical formation of the surface of improved graphene-type structures.•TSG structure can be used as a sensing material to detect the molecules which has similar effects with EC molecule.•The decoration style of the molecule adsorbed by TSG can also be detected by observing the UV characteristics of resulted surface.
