Analysis of the universalization of comprehensive health insurance with care coverage at Hospital II-1 Santa Gema de Yurimaguas

Access to health facilities is a necessity in the towns of the Peruvian Amazon, which is why it is proposed in this study to determine the relationship between the universalization of comprehensive health insurance and the coverage of care in the II-1 Santa Gema Hospital in Yurimaguas. The research is basic, non-experimental, correlational, and cross-sectional. The sample consisted of 60 workers. Information was collected through a survey and questionnaire-typeinstruments. As a main result, it was obtained that the universalization of comprehensive insurance has a "regular" level of 40% and care coverage a "regular" level of 35%. It was concluded that there is a high positive correlation (0.9361) between the universalization of comprehensive health insurance and care coverage, indicating that 87.64% of this is affected by the universalization of comprehensive health insurance in Hospital II-1 Santa Gema by Yurimaguas.
