Metal Additive Manufacturing evolves steadily towards industrialization. Laser Powder Bed Fusion (L-PBF) is a commonly used process to manufacture near net-shape metallic parts with high densities. Industrial usability requires high standards of reproducibility, which are defined by capability measures of machines and processes. Meeting the flexibility of Additive Manufacturing (AM) and aiming for mass customization, AM processes have to be under full control and must fulfill all standards.
