Abstract Among 134,223 patients with COVID-19, we assessed how risk of hospitalization changed at different intervals in the pandemic, controlling for prior COVID-19 immunity. In multivariable analysis, outpatients with COVID-19 during the Omicron predominant time period had significantly lower odds of hospitalization compared to pre-Delta (aOR 0.26, 95% CI [0.22-0.32]).
