This is due to the difficulty in sourcing and digitizing analog recordings before the start of “easy to access” waveforms via data centers such as the Incorporated Research Institutions for Seismology (IRIS), Observatories & Research Facilities for European Seismology (ORFEUS), and so forth. However, predigital earthquakes are fundamental to advancing our understanding of the seismicity of an area and provide us with important clues of what kind of earthquakes may strike in the future. Hence, studies concerning predigital... You do not have access to this content, please speak to your institutional administrator if you feel you should have access.
