Abstract
Exploring advanced electrode materials for sodium-ion batteries (SIBs) so as to meet the the desperately urgent requirements still remains a great challenge. Herein, reduced graphene oxide aerogel coated N-doped NiSe 2 nano-framework cubes (N/NiSe 2 NFCs@RGOA) was successfully prepared by a facile synthesis process, at which the N/NiSe 2 NFCs nanoparticles with hollow nanocage morphology are encapsulated inside the RGOA. When serving as the anode for SIBs, N/NiSe 2 NFCs@RGOA exhibits remarkable electrochemical performance, which can provide a reversible capacity of 497 mAh g -1 at 0.1 A g -1 , with good capacity stability (after 80 cycles, with a reversible capacity of 376 mAh g -1 reversible capacity), and excellent rate performance (at 2 A g -1 , its capacity is still as high as 389 mAh g -1 ). It would be a promising solution to develop high-performance anode materials for SIBs.
