摘要
•Phytoviral RNA silencing suppressors remain poorly analyzed at the structural level.•We report the first semi-flexible 3D structure of a sobemoviral RNAi suppressor (P1)•A CCCC-type ZnF1 ensures the folding of P1 Nter region required for viral infectivity.•A second extremely rare HCHC-type ZnF2 at P1 Cter region behaves as a redox sensor.•Multiple levels of P1 structural regulation support P1 key functions in viral spread.
