大气颗粒物(APM)是大气中存在的各种固态和液态颗粒状物质的总称,其成分复杂,主要取决于来源,包括自然源和人为源两种,后者危害更大.按照大小,可将大气颗粒物分为:总悬浮颗粒物(TSP):直径≤100 μm;可吸入颗粒物(PM10):直径≤10 μm;细颗粒物(PM2.5):直径≤2.5μm.PM2.5是APM中毒性最大的成分,对人类的健康影响较大.
