摘要

•High performance biobased liquid crystal copolyesters were designed and prepared.•The copolyesters showed excellent thermal stability and melt processing ability.•Excellent mechanical properties, hydrophilicity and biocompatibility were observed.•The copolyesters are most suitable for application in load-bone repair area.
