摘要

In this paper, the performances of four conventional techniques of maximum power point tracking (MPPT) are evaluated and compared to highlight their shortfalls. The conventional techniques, such as Constant Voltage (CV), Constant Current (CC), Perturb and Observe (P&O) and Incremental Conductance (INC) are considered and their performance are evaluated with the input-output power curves. It is revealed that the P&O technique outperforms the other three.
