Precipitation event-based networks: an analysis of the relations between network metrics and meteorological properties

Complex networks have been little exploited in the weather scope. We intend to explore such a context in the present work, building event-based geographical networks using weather radar data. With this set of event-based networks, we analyze the relations between meteorological properties and network metrics. The results show significant correlations, which help explain the network behavior in precipitation events.
