从痰瘀理论着手,论述代谢综合征与痰、瘀以及痰瘀互结的关系,认为其发病与过食肥甘、劳逸失调、情志不畅等不良生活习惯有关,痰湿和血瘀是此病重要的病理因素,且痰瘀互结贯穿全病程.在临床上从痰瘀论治代谢综合征疗效显著,为代谢综合征的中医诊疗提供新的思路及方法.
