Abstract
Starting from the geometric structure of the connection between the monocone and its feeder, and based on the inductive and capacitive analysis technology, this paper qualitatively analyzes that when the virtual feed point of the monocone is located in the plane of the mirror, the feed point is inductive relative to the coaxial line. By loading a ring at the inner core of the feed point, the reflection at the feed point structure is significantly improved after capacitive compensation. By analyzing the polarity of the feed point reflection signal, a more refined compensation scheme is proposed. The simulation results show that this compensation scheme can reduce the feed point reflection by one order of magnitude.
