Abstract
To avoid rapid degradation of magnesium alloy AZ31B after implantation in body. The porous structure was firstly fabricated by femtosecond laser on AZ31B, then, zinc oxide film was prepared by wet metallurgy on porous structure. The microstructure, corrosion resistance, antibacterial properties, compatibility were measured by SEM, XRD, electrochemical station and MTT, respectively. The experimental results indicate that when the femtosecond laser repetitive frequency reaches 500 kHz, a kind of coral-like morphology is obtained on AZ31B, the surface morphology of AZ31B with zinc oxide film exists a needle-like structure. The main phases in the zinc oxide film are zinc and zinc oxide. The corrosion resistance of magnesium alloy with zinc oxide film is higher than that of bare AZ31B. The antibacterial test demonstrates the ZnO film is of excellent antibacterial properties. In vitro cell experiment shows that the biocompatibility of zinc oxide film is better.
