Recently, GE Healthcare announced a supply chain disruption affecting the global supply of iohexol and iodixanol (Omnipaque and Visipaque; GE Healthcare, Chicago, Illinois) because of coronavirus disease 2019 restrictions affecting the manufacturing facility and shipping infrastructure in Shanghai, People’s Republic of China. This disruption has halted 80% of their production, with the remaining 20% still being produced in Cork, Ireland.
