摘要

•The curved and straight combined cross-section (CSCC) enriches the types of sections of lateral compression tubes.•The force-displacement behavior can be modified by ratio η to search stable plateau force.•The 3D-CSCC structures with different number of CSCC rings were also proposed which maintains the favorable stable plateau force.
