A Hole-Information Monitoring System for Power Transformer Base on Core Earth Signals

Abstract
Power Transformer Core Earth Signals (CES) couple a variety of information that can provide important reference for detecting various faults of power transformer. For this reason, a Hole-Information Monitoring System (HIMS) for power transformers has been develop, which employs the signals within CES to monitor the health status and detect and diagnose the faults of transformer. Firstly, based on the holo-information measurement technique, HIMS can captures all the signals in CES. Secondly, using the technologies of signal processing, HIMS can extract all the features in CES. Thirdly, introducing the association analysis, HIOMS can evaluate the health status of the transformer and detect the existing faults. At the end of this paper, three cases are detailed to illustrate the workflow of HIMS, and also reflect it’s advantages and characteristics.
