Sense of agency during and following recovery from anorexia nervosa

•No differences on the intentional binding task between healthy controls, anorexia nervosa patients and recovered anorexia nervosa patients.•State anxiety was not a significant predictor of the sense of agency.•A negative relationship was found between tone-shift and the explicit sense of control for recovered anorexia nervosa patients.
