Bilateral Advancement Heart-Shaped Anoplasty for Severe Anal Stenosis: A New technique

AbstractSevere anal stenosis is an unusual complication following hemorrhoidectomy but leads to severe morbidity. The treatment of severe anal stenosis is usually some type of anoplasty. We designed a heart-shaped bilateral advancement anoplasty for the correction of this condition. We carried out this operation in five patients with successful results.
