In recent years, high machining accuracy is required for precision machines. We manufacture a grinding wheel by a method using a 3D printer and PELID for the purpose of further improving the grinding process. This system is superior to the conventional grinding wheel manufacturing system in controlling the degree of freedom of the shape of the grinding wheel and the distribution of abrasive grains up to now, we have been able to manufacture grinding wheels that are difficult to manufacture by conventional manufacturing techniques, such as a grinding wheel with pores arranged in a pattern and a three-dimensional structured grinding wheel that has a flow path for grinding fluid inside.
