Asymmetric synthesis by solid catalysts

Advances in the development of heterogeneous catalyst for a variety of enantioselective transformations are reviewed for the period of 1996–2021. After a brief introduction, enantioselective oxidation and reduction reactions are described, followed by a survey of aldol type reactions. The chapter concludes with a discussion of multicomponent and cascade reactions. The examples are selected based on their sustainability and the environmental aspects are highlighted in the discussion.
