Type-I Censored Reliability Acceptance Plan for Exponentially Distributed Products by Fusing Different Types of Information

The reliability acceptance test (RAT) is to check whether the product meets the reliability requirement. It is important that the customer’s risk and the producer’s risk of the test plan controllable. The RAT plan in GJB899A is hard to be applicated because the test duration is too long and the risks uncontrollable. In order to optimize the RAT, a method to design the Type-I censored plans by fusing different types of information is proposed. The D-S based method is applicated and the two types of risk can be determined more accurately by fusing the expert knowledge. Then the Type-I censored RAT can be further derived. In the end, the case study shows that the proposed method is better than the method in GJB899A.
