Abstract
Rationale: Malnutrition is a common problem in oncology patients 1-3. Between 15 and 40% of oncology patients present weight loss at the time of diagnosis and the incidence of malnutrition increases throughout the development of the disease. The presence of malnutrition 4 has a negative impact on the evolution of patients and their health-related quality of life, increasing morbility and mortality.
