摘要
A novel magneto-electric dipole antenna consisting of a C-type horizontal patch and a pair of vertical bent shorted patches is proposed. A linear gradient feed structure is used for feeding, which can effectively widen the antenna impedance bandwidth and the trapezoidal groove is loaded to increase the high frequency resonance point. CST STUDIO SUITE is used to establish the simulation model for performance analysis. The simulation results indicates that the antenna can achieve 55.81% (|S 11 |< -10 dB) in relative bandwidth, and work in the frequency range of 6.42 GHz -11.39 GHz, and the antenna maximum gain can be increased to 8.5dBi. The stable radiation pattern in the E and H planes with low-cross polarization and good Front-to-Back ratio could be achieved. Compared with the traditional antennas, it has the advantages of compact structure, stable gain, wide frequency bandwidth, and can be applicated in the X-band communications.
