Design of a new HF RFID Reader antenna

Aiming at the problem that the traditional HF read-write antenna has small size and read-write range, single read-write direction (requires that the plane where the tag is located and the plane where the antenna is located must be parallel and aligned), and is easily affected by the surrounding environment, a solution that can be used in metal The HF read-write antenna that works normally in the cavity and allows the HF tag to be read normally without being restricted by the direction and distance. The 13.56MHz reader/writer antenna consists of a matching coordination network and a rectangular coil. In this design, ADS is used to model, simulate and optimize the near-field antenna. The overall size of the antenna is 55cm*45cm, and the designed maximum read-write distance of a single antenna is 15-20cm. The combination of components can realize the omnidirectional reading of tags without blind spots in the cavity, and can avoid the problem that the antenna is seriously affected by the environment.
