The Automatic Method to Recognize the Individual Characteristics in Brain Electrical Activity

Abstract
The main goal of the current study was to demonstrate an opportunity of recognize individual “portrait” in brain electricity activity. Proposed method was used special form of EEG numerical analysis, based on skeleton's modification of continious wavelet transformation (CWT). The proposed method was based on significant averagings in CWT-skeleton and required the recording of human brain activity for 30–40 minutes. Our study has shown that healthy person had got stabil personal EEG-characteristics (individual “portrait”), clearly distinguished from other subjects of the same age and gender group. This portrait was consistent over several months of observation. Apparently, this “portrait” was largely independent of the current emotional state in the generally healthy subject. The findings of this study have a number of important implications for future practice.
