Structural Intellectual Techniques for Texture Image Analysis

Current state of the problem of texture analysis and synthesis involves a variety of proposed methods. This paper is devoted to the description and application of some intellectual methods of structural analysis of texture images. In this paper, gradient methods of texture analysis are described, in particular, a special method based on the two-parameter Weibull distribution. Also, the applications of this method to various practical problems are described and its effectiveness is shown. The paper gives some examples of applying of texture features. Additionally, methods of local segmentation and semantic image analysis are described. The results of the conducted experiments prove the efficiency of proposed methods.
