Reduced-Dimension Beam-Doppler Stap Method based on Spatial Displaced Subarray Synthesis

Reduced-dimension beam-Doppler STAP methods have reduced spatial and temporal dimension by spatial beamforming and temporal Doppler filtering. Firstly, this paper introduces the basic principle of reduced-dimension STAP methods in beam-Doppler domain based on spatial displaced subarray synthesis. Then the spatial displaced and temporal adjacent filtering implementation process and typical implementation methods are described. Besides, the typical subarray synthesis modes including overlapping subarray synthesis and non-overlapping subarray synthesis are presented. Finally, the clutter suppression performance of one-dimensional, two-dimensional and cross-lapping along with overlapping or non-overlapping of six sub-arrays are simulated and analyzed, providing theoretical basis for practical engineering application.
