摘要

•Oxazolones, thiazolones and 2-oxy-3-phenylacrylic acid derivatives were synthesized.•III-1 and III-2 show satisfactory binding affinities to Mcl-1 (10–17 μM).•III-1 and III-2 inhibit cancer cell migration and induce MCF-7 cell apoptosis.•III-2 could dramatically decrease the protein level of Mcl-1.
