摘要
This chapter examines groundwater law in Western Australia, a state that has been slow at crafting and implementing nationally agreed policies such as the National Water Initiative (NWI). This chapter also engages with the case study of South West. This case study provides a contrasting situation with Angas Bremer. In doing so it discusses how groundwater law have shaped (and continue to do so) the governance of the water underneath the surface, while putting attention to sustainability and equity concerns.
