Report on the 5th International Workshop on Narrative Extraction from Texts (Text2Story 2022) at ECIR 2022.

The Fourth International Workshop on Narrative Extraction from Texts (Text2Story'21) was held on the April 1 st , 2021, in conjunction with the 43 rd European Conference on Information Retrieval (ECIR 2021). Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, the workshop was held online on Zoom platform. During the course of the day, an average of more than 80 attendees had the opportunity to follow-up and discuss the recent advances in extraction and formal representation of narratives.
