Abstract
The Cover Feature illustrates the amphiphilic glucose-BODIPY-fullerene nanotheranostic carriers as targeting cancer cells via photodynamic therapy (PDT, i.e. the true source of the hero's power). These developed heavy-atom-free phototheranostic agents were fabricated with a universal spin converter, fullerene, a light-harvesting unit, BODIPY, and an active targeting site, glucose. When irradiated with a red-light source to disrupt cancer cells, they produced efficient singlet oxygen and proved to be a promising treatment strategy as a fullerene-mediated PDT approach. Cover design by Dr. Günaydın, Dr. Gedik, and Dr. Okutan. More information can be found in the Research Article by Ezel Öztürk Gündüz, Elif Okutan et al.
