摘要
Solar and wind are the promising sources of energy which are available adequately in our country and the integration of both these energy resources paves the way in preserving the environment which also improves the economic wellness of the country. This project presents the design and control of a grid connected solar, wind and battery based hybrid energy sources. The PV system comprises of an Improved SEPIC converter, this converter is chosen as it has high-static gain. The maximum power from the PV is extracted by ANFIS based MPPT which is a combination of artificial neural network and fuzzy inference system. The Permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) based wind turbine has been used in wind energy conversion system, in which the resultant is AC output voltage. This AC voltage has been transformed to DC through a PWM rectifier. Whenever there is excess energy, this available excess energy is stored in a battery. The battery bank is connected to the common DC bus through a battery converter, which is incorporated with the battery for the charging and discharging of the battery. The system is also able to work when wind power source is unavailable. A simulation model of system is developed in MATLAB environment and simulation results are presented. From the simulation results, it has been observed that the THD of 1.00% is obtained.
