Abstract
A reconfigurable horn antenna made of pure water is described in this paper. The proposed horn antenna uses pure water layer instead of the metallic wall of a conventional horn antenna. High gain and wide band should be obtained when dimensions of the horn are well chosen. The proposed water horn antenna achieves a bandwidth of 68.4% (from 2.6 GHz to 5.2 GHz). By taking advantage of the fluidity of water, pattern reconfigurability can be achieved.
