摘要
The design of innovative and more efficient aggregation-induced emission (AIE) luminogens has attracted immense scientific interest since the first report in 2001. From 2015, the AIE concept has been extended to thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF), which appears as a possible solution to overcome the limits of traditional fluorescent dyes used in electroluminescent devices. This chapter focuses on very recent developments in molecular design strategies, photophysical properties, and electroluminescence performances of the newly emerged organic materials. These developments have enriched a library of fascinating organic materials developed for electroluminescent devices and several other advanced applications and also provide new directions for multifunctional material design in the future.
