Abstract
Childhood adversity (CA) related changes in brain structure are thought to mediate vulnerability for development and maintenance of psychiatric diseases. Few studies have been conducted that investigate the relationship between CA, psychiatric comorbidity and changes in brain structure by directly comparing healthy subjects and psychiatric patients. Here we take this approach with regions of interest that have associated with both CA and stress-related psychopathology.
