"司籍""典籍""掌籍"自出现起即与图书文献有关,后演变为我国古代图书文档管理人员官职名的称谓.三者作为官职名最早始于隋朝,起初为宫廷内设置的女官,隶属于尚仪局.唐朝,女官品级皆有所提高.宋金沿唐制,辽、元宫廷未设.元以后,使用范围逐渐扩大.清以后渐进地隐匿于历史潮流中.
